At Prosalon, the leading company in cosmetics in Colombia, I structured the whole Business Intelligence department, Controlled all CRM actions and technology initiatives as part of my role of Chieff of Business Intelligence. I improved the decision making 40%, generated 10M USD additional in sales and savings of 10%
In the Private Council of Competitiveness, I helped in the creation of the methodology and collected data for the departmental Index of Competitiveness in Colombia; and analyzed the publications: National Competitiveness Inform. At CEIBA Foundation, I designed a quantitative methodology of transversal impact measurement for the Finance Corporation for Development (FDN) in base of incomplete current systems of data measurement. The output was a methodology of variables, pillars and indicators that enable it to measure it impact. At Andorra, I have designed and fulfilled a quantitative methodology and taxonomy of the impact investing industry on the basis on public data of the industry deals worldwide on the basis of diverse analytical theories. At Atica, I have developed the entire BI model for the 1500 employees company. All KPI and Budgeting with a P*Q detail level.
In ANDAR Colombia, I lead the foundation of the first association of students with scholarships in the Technologic de Monterrey, ANDAR Mexico. There, We replicate our programs with the community of students and consolidate the network that today stays in the 31 campus of that university. At Babson College, I worked simultaneously in a strategy group with US citizen and in a entrepreneurial project with Indian and Thai citizen. I managed each team differently and effectively. As a result, we got the best grade in all courses. At Atica I lead the Strategy and Finance department in the Budgeting exercise and project committees. As a result, the company obtained it first real budgeting exercise and I contributed with two business lines that generate revenue.
In Coally I have lead an entrepreneurial team in opperations, marketing, impact evaluation and business development groups. I generated 43 deals successfully and maintained a 30% recurrent rate.
As a Student, I was the founder and the president of ANDAR Colombia, foundation with 20 members and more than 2000 beneficiaries. By my lead, our team got engaged and accomplish the development of the first database of scholarships in the Colombian private universities, we consolidated ANDAR in Mexico and created the biggest organization of students with scholarships in Colombia: the “SociedadPilo”. As a result, we were selected as one of the 10 most important non- profit projects by unreasonableLab incubator. In Ceiba, I directed the public policy in education for the department of Chocó, the poorest in the country. As a result, there were 50 contracts of bilingual professors. In Ceiba, I led a team of 3 assistants for elaborating Ceiba’s Nariño Department educational program in 2018. Andar: Managed a team of 7 analysts and compiled a database of 95 Scholarship opportunities for poor students. In Babson College I have been the CEO and Cofounder of two companies. Findally, a platform that trains and connects students with Small and Medium enterprises of impact to generate innovation solutions. As a result, I were selected as one of the B-seeds finalists and also I have created the enterprise and piloted.
Managed and developed, with strategic partners, a methodology for a Center of Excellence in Mining that generate an agreement between government and mining enterprises. At Andorra, I have networked and contacted the CEO and board members of nearly 300 impact investing funds. I have developed Andorra’s company network and I have increased it level of trust and image from investors perspective.
At Finantial Capital Partners, I have formulated a quantitative and qualitative enterprises valuation index utilizing databases such as EMIS or Bloomberg. I produced a ranking of the best 20 enterprise to invest among the 25.000 Medium-sized Colombian enterprises. As a result, investors were able to make impact decisions. At Babson College I have developed the financial valuation of three entrepreneurship projects with it 5 year projection, equity issued and VC valuation, competitor valuation and multiples valuation. At Atica, I have lead the FInance and strategy department, developed financial models for incumbent projects and budgeting. As a result, the company implemented right decisions and generated revenue. At Atica, I led all the acquisition process of 1 oil reuse company “Ecolcin”. At Atica, I developed the Due Diligence strategy for the exit of the company.
In the Private Council of Competitiveness in Colombia I was able to interview several executives in public and private positions and I gathered their insights in the methodology. My analysis led to the creation of the methodology of the first Index of Competitiveness of the cities in Colombia. Its conclusions were used as the guide for public policy during the 2017-2018. Analyzed publications: National Competitiveness Inform, The Age of Productivity, Informality in Colombia. At Babson College, I have develop a reseach paper about disruptors and incumbent in agriculture sector. I have used opperations, marketing and accounting knowledge to map the trends and disruption in the sector and develop some recommendations.
Created recommendations for land issues team, producing an accrued intervention in Peace Agreement.
In my country I studied all days from 3 am to 7 am for the national exam. As a result, I was in the first place In the National High School exam and I have won a scholarship for my undergraduate program.
I managed earning a scholarship for my masters in Babson College by studying for the gmat and realizing an enterprise with farmers in Colombia.
Directed Ceiba education policies in department of Chocó, the less developed in Colombia, and generating more than 50 working contracts. Volunteers leadership
· At Babson College, I developed the strategy for their social responsibility institute worldwide as part of a consultancy project. I needed to make it sustainable and inclusive. I lead the analysis, interviewing key players in different countries and collecting quantitative data. As a result, the entity got the resources for developing the program and they executed it.
In Babson College I have been Cofounder of Findally, a platform that trains students and connects them with Small and Medium enterprises of impact to generate innovation solutions. We solved challenges for 4 of them, foundations and impact enterprises. As a result, we impacted more than 50 people and we were finalists in a social pitch competition. At Babson College, I managed the CEO position of two startups in different sectors, in tourism and social impact. At Atica, I realized several optimization procedures in their plans and finantial analysis that lead to the automation of KPIs and BI reporting.
At Babson, I have led the creation of a platform that trains students in a entrepreneurial methodology and connects them with Impact businesses in rural areas of Colombia. I acted as CEO and mentor. As a result, we have helped 3 business of impact.
I have had relationship with the CEO and board members of nearly 300 impact investing funds. I have developed the company network and I have increased the level of trust and image.
In Babson I have developed an accelerator that connects Students with business of impact in Colombian rural areas. There, I have analyzed their model, valuated their impact and studying their future success. I have chose the projects to work with and lead the team of students in their innovation solution.
At Andorra, I have analyzed and categorized nearly 400 impact investing funds according to a taxonomy I have contributed to. I was able to detect the competitive funds and developing a database of firms, managers and products. I Coally I was able to contact and develop relations with mote than 800 impact minded investors that allowed me to be able to raise more than 40.000 USD in equity investment in a pre seed stage.
Developed financial modeling studies for waste management projects. As a result the company execute projects that generated a profit of around USD 10 mm.
· In Findally, I led the creation of a social impact consultancy platform where students link their knowledge to impact enterprises. We were able to develop crowdfunding campaigns, market studies and product market fit operation for social companies from Colombia, US, India and Chile.
In WalknTravel, an environmental tourism startup I lead the creation of all the platform design, developed by a team of Indian engineers working remotely and I organize the team for implementing the go to market strategy. As a result, the startup was able to accelerate its opperations and go to market I less than 4 months
At Shared Studios I was capable of working within a remote based team by aligning expectations, maintaining a fluent communication and by establishing weekly effective meetings where I aligned team’s tasks and results. I was able to define partnerships strategy and execution and their first marketing plan, generating income.
At Prosalon, I lead the design and implementation of all the architecture of data analytics. I generated more than 30 reports, I developed the data warehouse and ETL to feed the analytics and realized integration using ERPs such as SAP and CRM as hubspot. Developed Data analythics department and Board of advisors finantials on BI. Analized the repositories from 13 datawarehouses for waste management.
